I'm not too good at drawing myself, so I'm basically trying to teach myself to become an artist, with tuts, and a hell lot of practice. If you can't find an artist, I recommend trying to become one yourself. Good luck.

I can't help you, but good luck.
Also I reccomend you completely ignore AS2 and go straight to AS3. It's a much steeper learning curve but it will pay off in the end.
